A large modern school complex incorporating 2 difficult types of aluminium standing seam roof systems, SpeedDeck and Ziplock.
 

Large areas of rooflights were required to provide natural light to the classrooms below. Units ranged from small sun pipes to various sizes of polycarbonate domes to large inclined glass opening roof lights.

Each type of unit required its own site welded solution to ensure complete weather and water proofing capabilities. There was also a requirement for site formed valley gutters and for welded end lap details on one of the roofs which required a joint between factory formed curved roof sheets and adjacent straight sheets.
