Our Training

We consider health and safety to be an area of continual improvement and are proud to have Fieldside Health and Safety Management (HSM) as our health and safety consultants.

Fieldside HSM have worked on many high profile roofing projects including the refurbishment of Glasgow Central Station, the Cardiff Millenium Stadium and most recently held the position of Health and Safety Leader on the largest construction site in Europe, the Terminal 5 Project at Heathrow.

Fieldside HSM are experts in Working at Height and Behavioural Safety Orientation, providing a professional training and education service across all industry sectors which is backed by their practical knowledge and experience.

Training Programmes

We have developed a clear training programme for all our staff. Our Directors have all completed a Directors Health & Safety Responsibilities course and our Managers and Supervisors must complete CITB SMSTS and Working as Height courses as a minimum.

Prior to starting on site all our Operatives must complete a specific Health & Safety Induction course. Following the Induction course further job specific courses must be completed. The courses include:
  • Working at Height - specific to operations, in accordance with BS 8454
  • Behavioural Safety - specific to Working at Height
  • Manual Handling
  • Abrasive Wheels/Hot Works
  • COSHH
  • Selection of Equipment and Safe Driving.
